The Royal Art Lovers will find here the line I want drawn from the mind, and the Colour of Enlightenment I want it to be.

As an introduction, allow me to borrow the following words from our friend Jacques Prévert :

“Drawers of the chairs
Diamonds of the glazier
Prisoners’ birds
Unicorn of the attic windows
Spiral stairs
Scenic route”

But above all:

Flied off Indian inks
Softly marked out pen and ink drawing
Mixed oil paintings
Caressed colour pens
Laid on and glided pastels
Amplified water colours
Played figurative art
Confirmed abstract art

In one word Easel painting

But also if you wish,
During provided lessons,
Plumb line,
Squares and callipers will teach you

The Art of the line

As far as my work is concerned:

I wish my work to be long lasting symbols,
To bring old ages, former reference points back to mind.
Create some guideposts, timeless signs again,
Rendezvous through time and space,
During which, often a bit far away, we will meet again,
Informed by erstwhile knowledge,
Still present deep within our cells,
Gushing from time to time, and then often, and surely one day,
Sooner or later, but definitively never too late
Ready to shine forth.
To be more and more présent and to assume it
To be faithful to ourselves and then to mankind
To open new ways. To Explore our own infinite possibilities.
To become golden gates for each other.
